2017 Apple Wine and New ICE Wine Underway
Release expected in the fall 2018
We started Seven Birches Winery up at Windy Ridge Orchard in North Haverhill, NH in 2010 and have been making apple wine with their apples ever since. This family destination apple orchard has been a “best orchard” in New Hampshire for over 40 years. And, appropriately, we get the best and freshest apples every year from where we began.
We actually get apple cider, literally from the press and into a tank. This year, we got 600 gallons in 2 trips to make our wine. And, we are starting something new this year, an ICE WINE, made from the juice after it has been frozen and thawed.
