This idyllic setting is the perfect backdrop for your fairytale wedding.  The vine rows create a natural focal point in the center, with a small gazebo to host you (protected from the bright sun if you wish) and your partner for your wedding vows.  The vineyard is in the backyard of the RiverWalk Resort where you and your guests can spend the entire weekend without having to drive anywhere.  And, the vineyard is just a short walk over to the RiverWalk Grand Ballroom.

New in 2024 is the RiverWalk Resort Grand Ballroom.  Hosting up to 250 people seated and plenty of room for a band/DJ and a dance floor, this new space is the perfect facility for your wedding reception.  The interior design of the ballroom is elegant, with a mountain charm; it is right outside of the vineyard, and only steps away from the resort guest rooms (and elevator).  There is an attached outdoor gazebo and covered patio, if you’d like to take advantage of some outdoor space and the Grand Ballroom also has a built-in bar and pre-function lobby area.  Essentially, it has everything you could ask for in a wedding reception venue in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Destination weddings generally mean that your friends and family are traveling from near and far to attend your special day.  And, since you are likely staying for a few days, it would be nice to spend a little more time with those you haven’t seen in a while and those that you love to be with.  For this reason, we recommend reserving space in our “Club Lounge” or even in the winery itself to host a gathering.   Rehearsal dinners, evening socials, and morning-after brunches are just a few examples of the most common wedding gatherings outside of the ceremony and reception.  Consider hosting your rehearsal dinner in the winery club lounge, followed by a reception of everyone from out of town.  Don’t miss opportunities to reconnect with your loved ones.

You really have a few options.  Getting married at least 1 year from now?  We can make a wine with you from scratch.  You pick out the grapes, you help with the winemaking, you design your own bottle and label.  Everything is completely custom and unique to you.

If you are getting married sooner, we can still make your very own wine blend.  Join the winemakers in the winery for a day of blending trials to come up with your special wine.  Then we can blend as much of that as you need for your special day.  Nowhere on earth would anyone ever be able to get this wine as it is entirely yours.

With all destination weddings, there is a certain amount of downtime for the guests.  Let’s face it, the bridal party needs a little time to get ready and rehearse and pace the floors in anticipation.  So, what do all of the other guests attending the wedding do all day while they wait for the big moment?  If your wedding theme is a vineyard/winery wedding, then the most fitting thing to do would be to organize winery activities.  We can plan for a private “Meet the Winemakers Winery Tour” for your group and we can provide you with space to have a private wine tasting event.  Of course, there is so much to see and do in the White Mountains, but our tours and tastings generally take only a couple of hours at most.  Or, if you would like to simply provide your guests with some wine tasting vouchers that they can use on their own time, we can do that too.  What a great way for your guests to spend the afternoon before the ceremony.

The White Mountains of New Hampshire have been a tourism destination for thousands of families annually for nearly 200 years.  The pristine peaks, lakes and rivers are enough to keep people outside and exploring for a lifetime.  And, there are so many incredible family attractions, restaurants, and sights to see, that one weekend is never enough.  One of the best places to get information about the White Mountains is from White Mountains Attractions at exit 32.  This tourist information spot has all the information about what to do, see and eat in the mountains.  Another great reference for Lincoln, Woodstock and Franconia Notch, specifically, is the Western White Mountains Chamber of Commerce.  There you will find everything here locally.

Not only is the RiverWalk Resort at Loon Mountain the home of Seven Birches Winery and Vineyard, it is literally the center of town.  The amenities are all 5-star, including the suites, the pools, spa, restaurants, etc.  This is the type of resort where you park your car on arrival, and don’t see your car until you are married and heading home.  We highly recommend the restaurant inside, the Rhythm Tap & Grille which serves many of our wines and Rhythm Ciders.

Talk to the event sales manager to get a room block for your entire party.  Don’t forget that you’ll need extra space to get ready with your bridal party, so take a look at one of the penthouse suites, most of which are the size of a medium family home!  All of them are very comfortable and worth their price, especially for guests that take advantage of the eat-in kitchens and multiple bedrooms.  Every room has spectacular views from private balconies.  Glass of wine watching the sunset, anyone?

There are 2 types of weddings;  those that are planned to the minute, and those that wing it.  Whatever your style, our sales staff is here to assist you with all of the details.  From the room blocks, to the ceremony, the reception, and all of the activities in between, we can get you situated and make it easy for you.  Since everything is handled at RiverWalk Resort, the resort staff is your main point of contact.  They are terrific at bringing in the right people at the right time to enhance your experience.  Of course, being your wine vendor and wedding venue, we’ll be with you all the way as well.  And, we promise to make it all as seemless as possible for you and your guests.
