Club News with Katie
Winter is trying incredibly hard to take hold in the White Mountains. The ski slopes are slowly opening up, the nights are cold, but we keep getting rain instead of snow!
All of this dreary weather has made us want to cozy up with Mulled Apple Wine – our favorite spin on a classic cold weather drink. It and its lighter counterpart, Mulled Hard Apple Cider, are on the menu at the Riverwalk Tasting Room and Rhythm Studio. Make sure to grab a glass when you come in to grab your wine club release, if you haven’t already.
The Fall Club Release Party was a blast! We hosted 24 of you, drank a lot of wine, ate a lot of charcuterie, and got to celebrate another club release. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to those who came. It was a wonderful time and we are looking forward to the Spring Club Release Party. It is already on the calendar for the weekend of April 14-16th.
We have two new wines available for you all – the Ice Apple 2021 release, which we announced in a separate email. Personal opinion here: it’s the best one yet. The newest addition is our Rumor 2022, a spring harvest riesling featuring bright, zippy, semi-sweet green apple, fresh florals, and a balancing mineral note that will leave your mouth watering. If you loved the 2020 Riesling, you will love this one, too.

The apple harvest may be behind us, but it is still #ciderseason in the production room. So far, we have fermented 3575 gallons of sweet apple juice into our various Rhythm Ciders. All of your favorite ciders in our Artists’ Series, the Original, Blueberry, Blood Orange, Pride Honey, plus a new one (shhh….) are in the works and will accompany the release of this vintage. Probably the thing we are most excited about, with respect to the ciders this year, is the creation of our Premium Cider series, including the first release of the Heirloom Cider, followed soon by the release of our New Hampshire Sparkling Cider. The big differences with these 2 new ciders, is the fact that they are created, aged, bottled, and treated like wine, sparkling wine to be exact. They have their own new labels and will be packaged in Champagne bottles, complete with the cork & wire cage. These premium ciders are meant for mealtimes and celebrations, much like that nice bottle of Champagne. Coming Soon!
We are also preparing for our winter bottling of the last of our 2020 red wines, along with our summer fruits, Blueberry and Strawberry. The reds are all going into our Spring Club Release, as is our 2022 Whites and some of the fruit wines. Believe it or not, we are now making wine for our club members, and only making the leftovers available to the public through our tasting rooms. Very cool!
The red wines made this fall are all racked, and ready to go into barrel as we bottle. Those 2022 red wines will be available in 2024, so off to rest they go!
Lastly, we have had to say goodbye to McKenna. She is so sad to be leaving us and the area, but was so happy to have met so many of you. I guess we will need to dust off Mark’s boots until we find our next cellar hand. 🙂

Foliage season has come and gone, and boy was it a busy one!
Rhythm Studio has been living up to its name – we are now tasting our first “test batch” or “in progress” cider, our answer to the increasingly popular sour beer movement – a Sour Honey Hard Apple Cider. Come try out this new tangy creation and let us know what you think! It’s only on tap, but if you love it as much as we do, you’ll want to leave with a growler for sure. We also have a ton of new swag – sweatshirts, tees, candles, and more. With gifting season well underway, now’s the time to grab that item you’ve been eyeing every time you visit.
Finally, from all of the staff in our tasting rooms to you, Happy Holidays! If we don’t see you again this year, Happy New Year! Be safe, enjoy some good food and company, and we’ll see you in 2023.
