Club News with Joce

Jocelyn Oropallo, Wine Club Administrator

Hope everyone had an amazing Fourth of July! We’re absolutely loving this summer here on the patio, serving up icy slushies and our new summer blend cider. We’ve also brought back some fan favorites—the Orange Dreamsicle and Blueberry Pina Colada wine slushies—perfect on their own or layered for extra fun! If you’ve been checking out our weekly Winesday email, you already know we’ve just introduced a brand new Dry Rosé in cans! These sleek 8oz cans are super portable and each one packs 12% ABV, like having two glasses of wine or about a third of a bottle. It’s a special blend of our homegrown grapes. Half from our vineyard and half from California. We used all our white grape vines plus Frontenac Gris, which gives it that lovely blush color. We also added a splash of California whites like Sauvignon Blanc, Moscato, and Pinot Grigio to get the perfect hue. We’d love for you to come try it! We only made 65 cases, so it’s a pretty limited run—once they’re gone, that’s it. And exciting news: our wine cruise in Portland is already SOLD OUT! But don’t worry, there will be more trips like this in the future. If you’re interested in joining us on one of our domestic adventures, be sure to book early as they fill up super fast! Thanks so much to everyone who has already switched over to the subscription club early! If you haven’t done so yet, there’s still time to earn an extra 1,000 bonus points before the system automatically switches you on December 31. Simply email me joce@sevenbirches.com, with your preferred process date and your club frequency. We offer different options now, including monthly, bi-monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual.

Production News with Nate

Nathan Maser, Wine and Cider Maker

There is just something special about July in New Hampshire. It’s the quintessential summer month. It’s light out till 9, the lakes have warmed, the fireflies are out lighting up the night, the kids are out of school and wandering around town, and everything is GREEN. These distinctive cadences to the seasons are one of the main reasons why Mark named his cider company Rhythm. To honor that name and this beautiful ever changing state we have released two new canned beverages for you to enjoy wherever you find yourself spending your free time this summer. The canned Rose Cider has a beautiful pink color with just a hint of sweetness making it my new go to summer drink. We have also put our new American Rose wine in a slim 8oz can for the ease of bringing to the pool or river. Throw a couple of these into your bag and feel all your stress melt away as you sip on this perfectly portioned wine. The vineyard out back is looking fantastic right now. All the vines are starting to develop their grapes and are reaching their leaves towards the heavens. It’s a beautiful sight to see and even cooler to walk down one of the rows. Please make sure to check it out the next time you are up. Finally, Gage has gotten the newly fermented red wines from this past spring out of the stainless steel tanks and into barrels. Everything is smelling and tasting good so far! These wines will sit in oak for at minimum just shy of a year, and some a bit longer. I can’t tell you how excited I am to have all of our oak barrels filled once again! These wines are all extremely young, but we can tell that they have a strong foundation to continue to age on. I hope you all are able to make the most out of this summer. Next time I’m at the river I’ll make sure to raise a can of the Rose cider in cheers to all of you. Till next time and please don’t be a stranger. We’ll see soon.

Rhythm Cider Update with Zach

Zachary Gould, Rhythm Cider Rep

From the salty air on the southeastern coast to the rocky tops of the White Mountains. Rhythm Cider has been traveling through New Hampshire stopping into our favorite restaurants, local beer/grocery stores and having so much fun at our tastings with other brewers from New England. We’ve participated in tastings like; Bacon & Beer Festival in Merrimack, Beveridge Aquafest that was held on the Mt. Washington boat on Lake Winni. The Farmers Market is hosted in Littleton, NH every Sunday. Mel’s Funway Beerfest, and many more in the seabrook and Portsmouth area. During the Summertime our strawberry and blueberry cider has been in full effect. Proven by Rhythm Cider drinkers that they are perfect beverages to enjoy during the berry picking seasons. Our latest addition to our growing cider portfolio is a limited release of Rosé Cider that we have reintroduced and is now available to take home in our tasting room. While we have definitely been enjoying the warmer weather, by exploring lakes, mountains and our favorite hidden gems throughout all of New Hampshire we are counting down the days to #ciderseason. Cider season at Rhythm Cider is a big deal and this year we are making it even bigger. We will be participating in more tastings! Bringing you along outside through social media, and showing off some of the collaborations we have with our friends, family and businesses in NH. Make sure you stay up to date on Rhythm Cider news though blog posts on the Rhythm Cider website. Rhythm Cider is making its way onto more restaurant drafts, and stores near you! Next time you’re planning on enjoying the sunshine and listening to some tunes, make sure you have a Rhythm Cider in your hand, I know I will. Cheers!
