3 Unique Winery Experiences

for those that want more than our extraordinary wine tasting

Option 1:

“Meet the Winemakers” Winery Tour

Wednesdays & Saturdays

Interested in how our wines are hand-crafted, right here in New Hampshire? Then, consider taking a “Meet the Winemakers” tour some Saturday afternoon.   This intimate tour of the winery and 2-way conversation with one of the winemakers is a fantastic way to experience Seven Birches Winery.

This exclusive experience has a limit of 25 people, making it ideal for those that have a more-than-average interest in wine and how it is made. Each tour will take a deep dive into the winemaking process, a look at the equipment that is used, and will include a wine tasting flight with the winemaker.  The tour is “conversational” so attendees get all their wine questions answered by the pros.  It’s as entertaining as it is educational.

This opportunity is perfect for aspiring winemakers, hobbyists, or for those that have a more-than-average interest in wine and how it is made.  Expect to learn a great deal about the process and equipment, along with your tasting and a few laughs along the way.

$40pp – Tours Include:

  • Full Flight Wine Tasting with the Winemakers in our Winery
  • Souvenir Logo’d Wine Glass
  • 2-Way “Conversation” with the Winemakers
  • Winery Production Room Tour
  • Deep Dive into Winemaking Process

These tours are available every SATURDAY & seasonally on WEDNESDAYS and must be booked in advance.  They do fill up quickly!

Interested more in how Rhythm Cider is made?  Check out a similar tour of the cidery, sample some of our handcrafted ciders, and take a deep dive with the cider maker on our “Meet the Cider Maker, Rhythm Cidery Tour“.

Are you planning a bachelorette party or small birthday party and looking for something unique to do with your friends and family?  Seven Birches Winery and Rhythm Handcrafted Beverages are happy to host your group and make the experience perfect for you.  Your first instinct may be to do winery tour with your friends.  Our experience with hosting groups on tour has led us to offer some alternatives.  Our tours are very educational and interactive between you, our guests, and the staff.  Often, bachelorette parties and other groups are more looking to have fun conversations among yourselves and not necessarily with us.   For this reason, we have some private group options.

Private parties such as these are coordinated with our management staff and all of the details are arranged in advance.

Please don’t let us deter you from our Meet The Winemakers’ Tour.  Those tours are awesome.  But, if you prefer something more private and want a wonderful group experience, then please let us know.  Cheers!

Join the founding winemaker, Mark LaClair, for a small-group wine sampling from the cellar library. The “library” is simply a set of wines that are no longer available for public tasting. They are only available for sale.

Mark will take you for a brief walk through the cellar, then bring you into the Birch Room (private room off the main tasting room) for a sampling of 4 (predetermined) wines from the library rack. This one-on-one experience with Mark is very educational as much as it is entertaining. It is a great opportunity to ask all of those burning wine questions and to sample legacy Seven Birches Wines that the general public does not get to try.

  • Brief walk through the wine cellar to see the equipment and activity of the day.
  • One-on-one (small group) time with Mark, the founding winemaker of Seven Birches Winery.
  • Sample 4 wines from the “Library” – a set of wines off-limits to the general public.
  • Wine tasting and grape variety education.
  • Opportunity to purchase library wines at a 10% discount.

– option 3 continued –

Do you enjoy wine tasting at wineries, but always find yourself looking for something a bit deeper, a bit more educational, that includes off-menu wines? This experience is for you.

The Seven Birches Winery tasting room, and the experience offered there is an award-winning, and highly rated experience, open to the public. However, many customers want a little bit more. They are searching for unique experiences that will linger in their memories for a lifetime.

Founding winemaker, Mark LaClair, has spent his entire career creating experiences for people, whether through the wines he crafted, events that he produced, or simply tasting experiences in the Seven Birches Winery tasting room. Now, Mark has agreed to open his schedule for some direct, one-on-one time. His wine knowledge, presentation style, and charismatic personality is what the tasting room is modeled after. He wanted everyone to experience wine with friends and family, and to learn a little something along the way. Now you can experience all of this directly with him and in a way that elevates the wine tasting experience as a whole.

The fee you are paying for this experience certainly covers the cost of the wine tasting. But, if you know Mark, you know that his time is worth gold. Booking one of these experiences gets you both.
