Our third annual Spring Release Party plans are postponed until the weekend of June 19-20, 2020.  We are still excited to be adding a new twist to the party this year, a Culinary (cooking) Experience.  Winemaking, cooking, tasting, savoring, learning, and partying, all in one weekend!  Get your tickets today!

The weekend starts off with a wine cocktail reception on Friday, June 19 at the new Atrium Wine Bar, located at the Lincoln Village shops.  Then, Saturday morning, prepare to get into the winery with a hands-on activity led by the professional winemakers at Seven Birches Winery.  You’ll also make a special dish as you take part in a cooking demonstration, led by Chef Joe.  Saturday afternoon, we’ll have lunch and hear from the winemaker before sampling all the wines in the 2020 Spring Release.  We’ll take a deep dive into our wine knowledge with an educational wine workshop and the grand finale of the day is a 3-course wine pairing dinner, featuring the foods you made, paired with 3 wines from the release.

If you attended the release last year, then this will be a real treat!  If you have never been to one of our events, then this is the perfect time to try it out.

Join the Seven Birches Winery staff anytime between 7pm and 9pm at the new Atrium Wine Bar at the Lincoln Village Shops.  Just a short walk across the parking lot from RiverWalk Resort and you’re at the first event of the weekend.  Your ticket includes a glass of one of our specialty wine cocktails, or one of your usual favorites.  Get together with other club members and share the experience in a wonderful new setting.  This is the perfect way to get the weekend started!

Time to get your hands dirty, literally.  During this activity, you become the winemaker for the day as you perform the same work that our winemakers do inside the winery.  You’ll learn how the tasks are done, with wine quality and safety in mind.  Best of all, you’ll be taking home a bottle of wine that you’re working on.  This has been a favorite activity the past 2 years for those that attended.  It’s destined to be the highlight of the weekend.

Join our chef for an educational and savory wine cooking experience.  This hands-on demonstration will get you creating something special that you’ll get to share at the wine dinner later.  You become the chef for the day as you learn how to craft a magnificent dish, with wine of course.

Ahhh, yes, the moment we’ve all been waiting for; the release of our new seasonal wines.  At this tasting event, you’ll get to try 6 samples from the upcoming wine shipment.  Most people have to wait until May 1 to try these wines.  You’ll be the first (after our winemakers, of course).  You’ll be back with your assigned group for this event.
